White privilege alert! Adam Carolla disses the Philippines

American radio personality and alleged comedian (of The Man Show fame) Adam Carolla found himself issuing an apology after his ignorant-ass comments about the Philippines and its boxing hero Manny Pacquiao.

Sample: “They got this (Pacquiao) and sex tours, that’s all they have over there. Get your s**t together Philippines. Jesus Christ. I mean, again, it’s fine to be proud of your countrymen. But that’s it? That’s all you got?”

You can hear the rant in question below:

White Americans making fun how poorer countries are not as awesome as the mighty United States? Gosh, how edgy and groundbreaking. Carolla doesn't exactly have the best track record when it comes to making fun of Asians, either.

  1. I've never found Adam Corolla funny at all. His attempt at humor has always been very lame. He even goes on to say that Manny is off “praying to chicken bones”. Clearly, he knows nothing about the Philippines aside from Pacquiao and the sex tours, and that's saying a lot. Ignorance at its finest.

(Also, I'm about to type the word verification and it's, ironically, the word "tanga" which means idiot/stupid in Tagalog a Filipino dialect. lol!)

  2. Filipinos are one of the most sensitive people if anyone outside their country criticizes them. Maybe if you think about how people view your country you could use it as a way to do something better for your country to progress it. What Adam said is pretty harsh but his statement is how many people view the philippines because often times that is how filipinos themselves portray it to everyone. The philippipnes has a lot of problems but many people do not see the aweome things in it because they just dont know and Filipinos themselves are not doing anything to promote it better. Complaining about the United States and white people is not going to help your cause.

Filipinos are some of the most hospitable, kind, and happy and very strong people. But all of this seems to be lost whenever someone in the media says a joke about Filipinos. You are so sensitive and thin skinned. You can tolerate a typhoon and still smile, but you cannot tolerate when some comedian or actor says one thing that has some truth in it about your country.

I love filipino culture and the philippines. I have even visited there for 6 weeks it was really a great time but these things I do notice about your culture. Part of the problem is many filipinos seretly wish they could be americans or white, but then go and complain about white people and the USA.
